Jillian is a California native and has lived in Orange County since she was a teenager attending San Clemente High School. She has
watched the area grow from a sleepy suburb of LA to The OC.
Jillian received both her BA and her Masters from UC Irvine in a five year program that awarded both degrees. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the South Pacific.
She was a professional ballet dancer in her youth with the world-renown Ballet Pacifica and has directed plays in Orange County for over fifteen years.
An independent ballroom dance instructor and a theatrical director, Jillian not only teaches American Smooth and Rhythm but also acting, scene study, playwriting and cold reading skills.

Jillian is a member of Pi Beta Phi fraternity, the National Dance Council of America and the Orange County Association of Bridal Consultants.
An entrepreneur since 1985, Jillian recently incorporated both her business in ballroom dance, Our Wedding Dance and web design, Anteater Web Design.
She has coached with champion competitors and instructors. Among them: Michael Mead and Toni Redpath; American Smooth, Igor and Irina Suvorov; Standard and Nadia Eftedal; Latin & Rhythm, Brian & Kristi McDonald; Standard, Claudio Rubio; Argentine Tango and Lisa Narita; West Coast Swing, Hustle, and Night Club 2-Step.
Jillian has made appearances on The History Channel and in the movie, America's Sweethearts and she is available for ballroom and theatrical consultation for plays, movies, and television as well as appearances with her partners in exhibitions and showcases.
